Getting the chemistry right
Before the actual work begins, the team in our process engineering lab must first draw up a set of precisely defined treatment instructions. This is done by examining representative samples of the sludge and checking how they react to the dewatering processes. A whole range of flocculation and filter aids are tested during this process to find the best formula. The results: high levels of separation, maximum solids content in the filter cake and a particle-free filtrate in line with our customers’ wishes.
